With our solution, the beekeepers are all the time aware of their surroundings, thus saving their hives from death, and their organized personal track make them take faster decision when faced with diseases.
GreenLeaf creates smart greenhouses, proposing an average reduction of 70% in costs and an improvement of 200% in efficiency for greenhouse farmers. The GreenHouse solution measures soil & air quality, analyzes data and automatically controls greenhouse parameters. Its distinctive features consist of long range coverage through LoRa protocol, a modular system which is easy to implement on ground, and 100% energy independence. In 1980 there were 2000 ha of greenhouses in Romania; in 2015 there are only 150 ha, compared to a necessary of 20.000 ha in order to sustain the entire population. Our solution is developed in close collaboration with farmers and R&D horticultural laboratories.
Larvatron transforms food waste and byproducts into nutritious larvae for animal feed, through a robotic ecosystem that operates effortlessly and without energy consumption. One third of the food produced worldwide is turned into garbage, amounting to 2.2 million tons of food wasted in Romania alone and 1.3 billion tons wasted at global scale, per year. At the same time, livestock food relies heavily on fish, depleting ocean and sea stocks. Our ecosystem relies on the Internet of Things to transform food waste into larvae, fed to animals to produce human food sustainably.

We rely on the innovative LoraWAN standard that affords wide coverage and low energy consumption for secure IoT communication. Our solution leads to a reduction in costs through adequate use of water, fertilizers and other inputs, savings in farmers’ time through access to aerial maps, a higher crop yield, as well as healthier food through diminished use of pesticides.
TRusT is a web-based platform that will connect small farmers to newly formed cooperatives in order to sell to hypermarkets. The cooperative movement is gaining traction among Romanian farmers, following the successful example of recent associations such as Lunca Someșului Mic, Legume de Vidra, or Miere de Câmpie. We expect more than 100 cooperatives to emerge in the next 4 years, and we aim to support their collaborative work to effectively connect farmers’ supply with hypermarket demand.
Amadeus - AutoMAteD mEter Systems consists in an automated utility meter system for home users. Consumers will simply take a photo of their meters and upload it in the cloud through the Amadeus app, which retrieves relevant information and offers payment management options and methods for cost optimization. We also aim to allow consumers measure their indexes, in collaboration with energy providers.
INTACT - Industrial internet of things communication solution offers an industrial IoT communication solution, interconnecting equipment in industrial facilities. Nowadays, industrial communication is not efficient enough, but also too complex to be completely changed. We will implement a generic module, which can be connected to the communication port of any industrial equipment using a serial-to-LoRa convertor.

AlertPlus offers a dedicated wearable integrated into a medical emergency system for people within a variety of age groups and categories of risk. People with problems related to young or old age, to disability or psychological conditions will use a specialized smart watch with GSM, 2G and GPS to alert caregivers and contact a 24/7 medical call center and dispatchers. The watch allows for real time monitoring of heart rate, fall detection, steps and other metrics, while also including an active speaker, a panic button and pill reminders. AlertPlus will offer an accurate fall detection algorithm, customized alerts, medication tracking and access to personal history via a health dashboard.

Our solution consists in a lighter, portable, lower cost device that generates numerical indicators, easy to interpret. Our solution will be developed in collaboration with ENT doctors, allowing fine-tuning and calibration in order to maximize its relevance for present-day medical professionals.
